Harvest Halloween

It’s a Yankton fall tradition – Harvest Halloween is happening October 26th at a new location! Harvest Halloween will be moving to the City of Yankton’s LAWN space down by the Meridian pedestrian walking bridge.

This year’s festival includes: Art by Creative Hands Studio, Kiddie Train Rides, Cookie Decorating, Music by Phil Baker, A Magician, Inflatables, Corn Pit, Haybale Maze, Photo Ops, & Food Vendors.

Irene Fall Fest in the Park

Join the City of Irene for a Fall Fest in the Park on Saturday, October 26th. Fall Fest in the Park will be held at the Lloyd Mork North Park. Enjoy the SDSU/USD Football Game Livestream at 2pm, touch a truck & kids games starting at 3pm, vendors in the park, FCCLA Trunk or Treat, food trucks, IW Music Department Haunted House, and Karaoke in the park. Haunted History Tours Overnight Experience

Stay overnight at the Mead Museum on Saturday, October 26 from 7 PM – Sunday, October 27 at 7 AM at the Haunted History Tours: Overnight Experience. Tickets are $50.00 each with no discount on member tickets. Tickets are non-refundable due to limited availability.

The event will include a midnight tour of the historic 1909 Mead Building where guests will be taken to places off limits to the public & staff will share their spooky stories. A team of paranormal investigators & a tarot card reader will be joining in the fun. Snacks are included along with a continental breakfast in the morning. Must be 16 or older to attend.

Payment is required to reserve tickets. Tickets are available for purchase online at www.meadbuilding.org, at the museum Information Desk & by calling 605-665-3898 during business hours.

Fundraiser Dance

It’s a Fundraiser Dance to support the family of Breanna & Katelynn, daughters of Carl & Nancy Schieffer on Sunday, October 27th at the Crofton Auditorium. Enjoy a dance & silent auction starting starting at 2pm. Silent auction items can be dropped off at Uptown Style in Crofton. Food will be available for a free will offering from 4-6pm. Irving Berlin’s Holiday Inn

Irving Berlin’s Holiday Inn will be presented at the Dakota Theatre November 22-24th. Holiday Inn tells the story of Jim, who leaves the bright lights of show business behind to settle down on his farmhouse in Connecticut… but life just isn’t the same without a bit of song and dance. Jim’s luck takes a spectacular turn when he meets Linda, a spirited schoolteacher with talent to spare. But when Jim’s best friend Ted tries to lure Linda to Hollywood to be his new dance partner, will Jim be able to salvage his latest chance at love?
