Bowl-A-Thon
Join Big Friend- Little Friend program for a Bowl-A-Thon on Monday, January 20th from noon-2pm at Yankton Bowl. This is a free bowling event for youth in grades 1-5. Youth us pre-register for the event to participate. No food will be provided. Registration forms and information are available online at ww.yanktonunitedway.org.
Pinochle Tournament
Join Yankton Food for Thought for the 2nd Annual Pinochle Tournament on Saturday, January 25th, located at the VFW. Registration from 1-1:30pm with tournament immediately following. Entry fee is $25 or $20 with food donation. Other fun prizes throughout the day. Snacks will be provided. Lunch available for purchase. You don’t need to be a card shark or have a partner to play. Benefit Bingo for Steve Willcuts
Get ready for a fun night of BINGO for a great cause. It’s a BINGO Benefit for Steve Willcuts, January 25th at Kozy’s Bar. Serving food at 5pm with BINGO starting at 6pm, plus raffle tickets and silent auction.
Steve Willcuts was diagnosed with stage 3 esophageal cancer in February 2024. He has had chemo and radiation along with a heart attack and surgery for a paralyzed vocal cord. This fundraiser will help with medical expenses. Steve & his family would like to thank everyone for their continued prayers & donations.
Annual Benefit Breakfast & Bake Sale
Enjoy a Benefit Breakfast & Bake Sale for the House of Mary Shrine on Sunday, January 26th from 8am-12:30pm. Serving pancakes, scramble eggs, sausage, ham, biscuits & gravy, & caramel rolls ($4.00/roll) all for a free will offering. Benefit & bake sale will be held at Marty Hall, located at 2700 Broadway Ave. in Yankton.
Yankton Baseball Association Fundraiser
Help support the Yankton Baseball Association by joining in on a Fundraiser on Saturday, February 1st at Hillcrest Golf & Country Club. The night will be a fun, relaxed evening. Doors open at 5:30pm. Appetizers start at 6pm. Silent Auction and Raffles close at 8:30pm.

Heartland Humane Society Valentine’s Day Fundraiser
Order cupcakes and surprise a loved one or treat yourself to gourmet Cupcakes on Valentine’s Day in Yankton or Vermillion. Pre-order your cupcakes and grab bags and enjoy a special treat. You can order human cupcakes by the 4-pack or dozen. The 2025 baker is Falynn’s Sweet Treats. Flavors will be Vanilla Bean, Triple Chocolate, Wedding Almond Cake and Red Velvet. Each four-pack costs $20.
New this year is a “Grab Bag” for either cat or dog. This will include at least one toy and treat in each bag for your feline or canine friend will enjoy. Grab bags are $10 each

The Best Medicine: Laugh Event
Join Dakota Hospital Foundation on February 14th for the annual The Best Medicine: LAUGH event. An evening enjoyed with a meal and comedy show, located at The Old Lumber Company in Vermillion! Social begins at 5pm with meal at 6pm and Comedian/Ventriloquist, Marc Rubben at 7pm. Seating is limited. Cost is $50/person (meal/drink ticket/comedy show), $10/reserve a full table of 8, or $35/person (comedy show only).
